Yeah definitely saw an M1 and some other nice stuff, it made me wonder why they picked pistols, shotguns and a bolt action, perhaps no ammo? Because the rifles would make much more sense. But then again they gave the thompson to the comic relief guy and not the supposed marine with the army tat. but then again it was in a bit of a weird genre half comedy/half serious --[[User:Iceman|Iceman]] ([[User talk:Iceman|talk]]) 05:35, 23 April 2013 (EDT)
I believe it was some shotgun, but I don't think it was ever seen properly and its probably not the same prop used by the farmer (which we did see properly) since this isn't exactly low budget production.
The revoler used looks more like a Colt Dragoon. The Dragoon has a seperate barrel from the frame as were the Colt Walkers while the Colt Navey 1851 has a sealess barrel and frame. It can't be a Colt Walker because the Walker did't have the loading lever latch that you can see in the picture.

== Gisele's "Gangsta" draw ==

As i recall reading, somewhere, i believe it was in Colonel Jeff Cooper's Gargantuan Gunsite Gossip, he talks about how the Israeli's do a "flat" draw, like Gisele does in the movie, apparently done because as we know, the Israeli's, especially Mossad, teach to carry Condition 3, ie, no round in the chamber, and therefore need to rack the slide to ready the gun for combat, and as such decided that it was easier to do so, while drawing the gun flat, with a 90 degree angle.

Not sure if that was the intention of the director but, it seems logical, that she, being former Mossad, is doing as she was trained.

According to her Wikipedia page, Gal Gadot, who plays Gisele Yashar, served in the Israeli Army, before being a model, and took part in a photoshoot that featured models who had previously served. That might give a lot more insight into her useage of the Israeli made Jericho and her particular grip and draw of it in the movie.

Just a thought
