The Wolf Among Us is Telltale Games' adaptation of the Fables comic series. Set as a prequel to the comics, it stars sheriff Bigby Wolf and has him investigate a series of murders in Fabletown, a neighborhood in New York City populated by former fairy tale characters.
It seems to be the only sidearm the gang has, as the Jersey Devil, Tweedledee and the Crooked Man use the exact same weapon one after the other in Episode 5.
BHD Miniguns
Just curious, why did you change the ID on the Black Hawk Down miniguns from GAU-17/A's? In all the screenshots they appear to have the slotted flash hider of the GAU-17/A (not sure about on the Little Bird as they are spinning, but as they appear to have a transparent band in the middle this would also suggest they have the slots). Also, as the Black Hawks were provided by the Air Force I would assume that they were fitted with the actual GAU-17/A miniguns that are fitted IRL. Note that the stock image for the GAU-17/A is of one fitted to an HH-60 Pave Hawk and it is identical to this, including the accessories such as the sight rail, mounting bracket and stuff like that. --commando552 (talk) 18:06, 4 February 2014 (EST)
:I thought it was the army that supplied the choppers. --Funkychinaman (talk) 18:58, 4 February 2014 (EST)
::Been a long time since I saw the making of documentary so you are probably right. However, surely we should still call it a GAU-17/A though as it is that specific variant, rather than the generic M134. If they are Army then I know that a GAU designation may be technically wrong for what they would call them, but I don't think the Army have a designation for this variant so I think it is better to use the GAU one to differentiate the two. Otherwise we would have to call it "the special updated M134 flexible variant that the USAF calls the GAU-17/A but the Army still just call the M134". --commando552 (talk) 19:42, 4 February 2014 (EST)
:::The thing is though, it is the exact same gun as the GAU-17/A. It isn't the case that the GAU-17/A is just what the USAF call the M134, it is a different variant with a number of modifications (must notable for ID purposes is the flash hider) to allow it to be more effective in the flexible role. It was developed by the USAF and then the Army starting using it but haven't given it a destination over and above the general "M134" which is horrifically vague and applies to all weapons regardless of manufacturer or configuration. To me it makes much more sense that we should call it the GAU-17/A as this is an identifiable, separate variant and this is the designation it was invented with. Granted this is a slightly grey area as these specific guns in the film have the official designation of an M134 as it is actually a genuine Army helicopter, however if it was mounted on a mecha in an anime we would not debate whether it was an Army or Air force robot, we would just call it a GAU-17/A as that is what it is. Furthermore, if a GAU-17/A is mounted on a pintle mount on a boat we wouldn't call it a Mk 44 which is the technically correct Navy designation, as once again it would be confusing to call the exact some gun a different name depending on what it was sitting on.

:::If nothing else, as it stands the current picture of the Garwood is wrong as all of the miniguns in the film have the slotted GAU-17/A flash hider. The correct picture would undeniably be the GAU-17/A one, and then at this point you are back to saying that that if it was mounted on a USAF helicopter would be a GAU-17/A, but on an Army Black Hawk it is just an M134 because the Army never bothered to come up with a name for it (probably because they are too proud to use a USAF GAU designation). We should put a disclaimer in the GAU-17/A section that it is not actually called that in US Army service though like we have done similar things on several other pages, like the Barrett M82A1/M107 difference, or that we call later P226s P226Rs even though that is not the actual name. --commando552 (talk) 22:00, 4 February 2014 (EST)
:: Couple of spots to hit if you can get 'em - S2E5 - Don't remember the exact gun but it's some kind of small auto, I believe it was shown by a woman in the episode, it's the episode where the detectives investigate a shooting committed by a little boy (It's not his gun I don't think but one belonging to another parent that she shows Munch/Belzer and Fin/Ice-T). Also a former rape victim Harper Anderson in S2E3 is seen shooting a polished chrome/stainless Desert Eagle at a firing range. EDIT - Also S3E12, a mother and protected witness wields a gun near the end of the episode, also I think there are some police impersonators who are seen with Glocks, not sure though. There's a few other ones, I've made entries as best I can remember on the respective season pages. StanTheMan (talk) 16:25, 6 March 2014 (EST)
I can't really speak to anything much on the show past Season 9, as that was about when I stopped following the show really. But otherwise, I got some more spots, forgive the all-caps on this list here -

* S4E07 DOLLS - POSSIBLE REM 700 RIFLES SHOWN FROM ESU SNIPERS
* S5E21 CRIMINAL - NICKEL REVOLVER USED IN ENDING STANDOFF, MP5 FIRED IN STANDOFF
* S6E10 HAUNTED - MAC-10 AND SEMIAUTO USED IN OPENING ROBBERY
RE: Screenshots: Alright, I've been uploading 720p caps but I can certainly upload 1080p captures...I saw you went in and did that...only reason I prefer 720p is because 1080 is almost always interlaced which is kind of a mess but I can always work with that. I use VLC to screen cap once I capture the entire episode and occasionally screen grabs right from the card. For other content like movies I try and get direct grabs from Blu-ray or first/second gen Blu-ray rips....Network logo is near impossible to avoid as its constant....Ill try and keep the file size down to under 200KB as well if thats a concern, I like to minimize re-compression so I'll read the screen cap guide over again and if you have anything else to add just let me know. Ill add the episode and season markers on them all, I believe I did it for every upload just need to add it into the page. - Nateo200 - 20:57, 11 May 2014
:::::If you wouldn't mind to represent Eastern Front also, I can suggest Crimson Colour of the Snowfall (Bagrovy Tsvet Snegopada) where are good images of Russian infantry in attack in 1916 (especially the first one in Nagant M1895 entry and the second one in Mosin Nagant M1891/30 entry). ==Opinion on image==
http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/File:Vlcsnap-206608.jpg
I'm undertaking work on the X-Files and just got into serious messing around with Fast Stone. That said, I just uploaded a new version of that image, I wanted your opinion of it, if it's too big or looks really wonky or anything. I plan to try my own hand at tweaking some images as I go, but I think it looks alright at present, at least as good if not better than what I overwrote. So anyway, what say you? StanTheMan (talk) 18:48, 11 July 2014 (EDT)
: Thanks about the image. As for the HD re-release, I had heard about that, but it seems unlikely, or at best, unclear, that it'll be released as such on Netflix, and since that's where I'm doing it all from, well, kinda stuck for the time being anyway. They may still release here in the US and/or on something else, such as Amazon Plus, but again, not sure. The last couple/few seasons are done in a decent widescreen format as it is, it's mainly the earlier seasons that won't be so good. Either way, it would be waiting longer and putting off work on a page/series long overdue for some kind of overhaul, and the wait may amount to nothing. I really wanted to get the series more to standard on the site, and in fact would have started on it earlier if other things didn't come about - The page is kinda hodge-poged with the screencaps, some sections have none at all while on others, even standard definition caps (proper ones) would be considerably better than some of the existing ones on the page anyway. I will leave some of the images as-is, as the ones I'd get wouldn't really be any better. All-told, since I already have to go back through the series to really get it set-up for individual season pages anyway, may as well get those caps now for the sake of completeness. If we do get a better source for caps later on, that can be dealt with then. I'm saving a log of where most of these guns appear in the show, so that'll make things easier for myself or whoever decides to go for the HD stuff down the road. == The Wolf Among Us ==

Hey, I was wondering if I could get your help with creating this page. I have a bunch of screencaps of guns in the video game The Wolf Among Us, but I am not the best at identifying them. If I create the page but leave the weapons with generic names (along the lines of "Mary's Revolver"), would you or someone else be able to go through and identify them? Or do I need to get them identified beforehand? Corkeyandpals (talk) 18:25, 26 July 2014 (EDT)
