The 1911
I don't think that it's the same pistol as in the first one. It looks as though the 1911 Frank uses in this one has a bull barrel and what looks to be Novak sights. It could be that they've just added the bull barrel but I'm certain I saw an accessory rail on the pistol as well. --cool-breeze (talk) 11:16, 26 January 2013 (EST)

It doesn't have an external extractor, so it can't be an S&W. Judging from the (blurry) front slide serrations, (looks like) a full length guide rod in the 1st pic, accessory rail, and possible hint of a double stack bulge behind the takedown pin, I'm going to say it's a Para Black Ops. --ColonelTomb (talk) 01:18, 18 July 2013 (EDT)
Notes and missing guns
I saw this movie today, and I noticed that the rifles used by the Moscow police are not AK-104's, they look like AK-74M's or AK-103's. Some AK's are also used by the Russians at the prison camp. And the page is missing a few guns: Type 56-1 that the Iranians are using and what Marvin is firing near the end of the movie. Some US soldiers in the airfield seem to be using Colt Model 933's and M4's. Frank Moses gets a hold of an AKM with synthetic furniture in the prison camp. I do not however have this on DVD or Blu-Ray so I can't take proper screenshots. --CnC Fin (talk) 03:00, 27 April 2016 (EDT)
Ludicrous
I don't see any problem in having a little whinge behind the scenes :) I only watched the first 15min before I noticed:

The Bad Guy bothering to use a suppressed pistol when every one of his Disposables were then using assault rifles on full auto in the confines of a building.

The Bad Guy, knowing how dangerous Bruce's character is, inexplicably sends only one Disposable into a room to take Bruce out (the man is disarmed and neutralised instantly).

Bruce Willis's character manages to make an M67 grenade explode the instant is it triggered, even though subsequent grenades work as designed.

None of the Disposables spots or hears Bruce's 180lb character slithering around on some rickety Sunday School shelves.

The room repairs itself after a grenade obliterates loads of it.

The main character escapes from the building and then bickers about trivial matters with friends, as potential assassins are mere feet away, as if nothing has happened.

I stopped watching after that :)
the flamethrowers are few M2A1-7 and a custom prop flamethrower.
I have to add on the DVD-Laserdisc commentary Carpenter states that it was working Vietnam era flamethrower. They had two. One that worked and one that didn't. The one that did used compressed karosine as a fuel. Carpenter literally had the LAFD standing by when they burnt a "Thing".
why dose an arctic base have Flamethrowers and shotguns? Rex095
The SLP .40 is not the compact. I own both pistols and look at the inventory, it is definantly the full size. It has the trigger guard of the full size and does not have the extended magazine floorplate that the compact does. As to caliber this is uncertain, as the game suggests that it could either be a 9mm, .40, or most likely a .45.

Hmmm, I noticed a lot of pistol in the game have red three dot sights for some reason, oh and the MP7 in game is the HK MP7 prototype (PDW) not an MP7A1, check it out. == Too hot for this wiki? ==

I have a copy of this game for the PC, and came up with something that might be considered risque when making screenshots for the wiki entry. Here's something I'd like to put up for your (dis)approval:

In the game, the Nailgun is pitifully weak barring headshots, and NPCs who are shot enough times bleed out their lives on the floor. I did not mod or cheat my game to achieve this. --Mazryonh 01:51, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
You need to shoot them like six times on rookie and even more on higher difficulties.

The Snubnosed Revolver's Identity
Is the Snubnosed Revolver in this game actually a S&W Model 686? The ingame version is pretty weak for something that's supposed to be chambered in .357 Magnum, though of course even the HK USP chambered for .45 ACP acts more like a 9x19mm FMJ firearm with regards to stopping power in the game. Or is the Snubnosed Revolver actually just a S&W Model 686 loaded with .38 Special ammunition instead of .357 Magnum?--Mazryonh 14:37, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
